Continue straight through the set of traffic lights just outside airport; pass the Petrol Garage on the left hand side.
For additional accuracy you can zero your taco meter (distance meter) on your vehicle at these traffic lights.
Continue straight under the bridge about 150 meters after traffic lights. To the right you will see a sign saying CAPE TOWN N2
At the fork in the road take the right hand side.
Continue on the N2 towards the mountain.
At approximately 8 km. from your zero mark you will encounter huge cooling towers on the right of the N2 highway. Keep on.
You will eventually be on the lower reaches of Table Mountain. The road starts to climb just after a sharp turn to the right in the highway, approximately 11.6 km from zero mark. There will be a bridge above you as you make this turn.
Groote Schuur hospital is now on your right hand side and a wide open space with trees on your left as you continue up the hill.
At the top of the hill the road forks to the left this is DE WAAL DRIVE / Vredehoek. Follow this road. This road hugs the mountain and you will have a view of the harbor.
As DE WAAL DRIVE slopes down in to town, take the first slipway sharp left, just before a bridge (lots of graffiti on your left). This turn is approximately 16.9 km from zero mark.
Follow the road passing a tall grey building to your left, with a Gardens Centre sign on top of it.
Pass through first set of traffic lights, after which the road turns to the right. There is a sign visible from the traffic lights CITY / SEAPOINT, follow this road.
The next road is UPPER ORANGE to the left and HATFIELD ROAD to the right. Turn right here. (There will be an Engen Garage on your right hand side)
Turn 1st right into Wandel Street.
Continue to the T intersection and turn left.
At the next intersection turn Left in to Glynville Terrace Road.
Visual Impact SA is on the left hand, to the left of the large wooden garage door.
Directions from the Mount Nelson Hotel to the Media Hive:
Pass the Mount Nelson Hotel keeping it on your right hand side, in other words you are travelling out of town towards the mountain.
At the 1st set of lights turn left in to Hatfield road.
Take the 1st right in to Wandel street, you will see Hatfield restaurant on the corner.
When you reach the T-junction turn left. There will be a brick wall in front of you.
Cross over the STOP street and turn left at the 1st available entrance.
Press the buzzer!
If you reach a square on your left hand side you have gone too far!
